Enenra and How Others Perceive It

Even in human form, Tomas regularly gives off smoke and vapor at random intervals. Supernatural beings with the ability to perceive other mystical/magical creatures will be able to discern Smoke's true nature.
Smoke is primarily Tomas (or at least, he thinks he is), but with the senses of Enenra. If/When he assumes his Enenra form, it is usually a self defense mechanism and it is not in Tomas' "right mind." It is more prone to lashing out with extreme violence. This is fortunately rare, since Tomas has a lot of Lin Kuei training to keep this from happening.
If Smoke is killed or near death, Enenra will rise to the surface and it doesn't have Tomas' restraint.
As time goes on, the line between them blurs, mostly resulting in Tomas acquiring more abilities from Enenra and the two of them slowly becoming one in the same.
Fun Headcanon: He might actually just be an Enenra in human form who thinks he is Tomas and them becoming one in the same might just be his true nature asserting itself.
